Once you have logged into your "admin portal" on Lender Spotlight you will be able to start adding "Loan Solutions". Start by selecting the loan type (either residential or construction) and then the loan options from the drop down menus. Don't worry, once you finish the entire area you'll be able to duplicate it for other loan options so you do not have to enter things twice

How to enter Loan Solutions

  1. Log in to the "Admin Portal" and scroll down to the "Loan Solutions" section

  2. Click on "Add Loan Solution"

There are two sections to fill out for your loan solution, "Make your loan solution searchable by selecting options so that brokers can find you" and "Provide your loan solution's details so that brokers can know if their clients qualify".

How to Make Your Loan Solution Searchable

Loan Type and Loan Option

Select a loan option that you fund. All the information you add on this page will relate to the loan option you select. Include all your products relating to this loan option .

NOTE: You can create only one loan solution per loan option (e.g., one purchase 1st , one purchase 2nd, one refinance 1st, etc, one draw mortgage ).

Once you have completed and saved the details, you can duplicate it so details can be copied across. After duplicating, simply update the loan option and change any relevant details (e.g., rates or fees) if they differ.

Searching and Filtering

These parameters are what will allow brokers to search and filter for your loan solution, which will be displayed on a loan solution card. Scroll down to each section, and select property types, term range, loan amount range and occupancy type and check off or fill in the relevant details.

In the location section make sure you check off all the various towns, cities and geographic regions that you lend in.

We've tried to provide a fairly exhaustive list of cities, towns and geographical regions for brokers to select but we can't list them all. We have however included areas you can select in every province. For example, a broker can select "rural" and your name as the lender will come up as an option. They also can select "other" so if the area the broker is looking for is not listed, then your name will also come up as an option.

If you'd like to appear in those searches, check off the option for each province where you lend.

Next fill in the "Loan Solution Card"

Provide Your Loan Solution's Details

Loan Solution Details

This final area is where you fill in all the details of the product . Loan solutions are organized and viewed by loan option. Your loan solution can present multiple products that exist under a loan option.

  2. GDS/TDS Details
